Now that I understand more and more words, I can also start to learn when you ask me to do something. While I’m not able to follow really complicated things just yet, I can do simple things with practice. Try giving me an instruction like, “Please pick up your spoon.” Then, show me what you’d like me to do. I may not be interested at first, but eventually, I’ll try doing what you show and ask me to do. When I’m successful, tell me how happy you are! I love making you happy and will want to do more things that make you smile.
