Even though it may seem that I don’t know a lot, I’m already really aware of how you are feeling based on your tone and how you interact with me (even if I don’t understand what that feeling means!). Don’t be surprised if I get upset if you speak to me harshly when you’re upset or act scared when people are loud and angry around me. The best way to make me feel safe is to keep me away from stressful situations as much as possible and for you to take care of yourself so that you can give me the best of you.
