Now that I’m starting to go pro with tummy time, I’ll be ready to start moving even more! Before I walk, I’ll use all kinds of ways to move – rolling my body around, scooting with my belly, and, eventually, crawling! You can keep me moving by creating a safe place for me to practice my rolls and crawls, where I can’t hurt myself or get into anything that might make me sick. You can encourage me to practice moving by placing my favorite toys away from me and encouraging me to move towards them. I may not always have the strength to reach them, but practicing will help me grow stronger and faster.
