Even though I’m still very small, I’m now starting to understand that I can make an impact on my world. I’ll be exploring and learning new things every day, and with every discovery, my self-esteem and confidence will grow. Give me opportunities to find new, safe things to explore around our home, encourage me to try to do things myself if I can, and support me when I need it. Even though one day I’ll be able to do so much by myself, I still need my parents to encourage and help me while I’m learning.
