Once I feel comfortable walking, my next step will be running! I’ll be trying to move around a lot and fast. That means it’s really easy for me to accidently hurt myself even after I’ve learned how to walk. Take another careful look at the things in my environment to make sure there’s nothing sharp that I could fall and hurt myself on. As much as you can, bring me places where it’s safe for me to practice running – our yard, a playground, or an indoor gym are great places for me to learn how fast my body can go!
