Child

Once I’ve mastered following simple instructions, you can start asking me to do more complicated things. Instead of saying something like, “Please pick up the spoon,” you can say, “Please pick up the spoon and place it in the sink.” Or, try asking me to look next to or under an object for something you’d like me to do something with. I’ll need lots of support and help at first, but eventually, I’ll be able to follow your instructions and do things that you ask me to. Just remember to patient while I learn – I’ll try my best, and if I feel like you’re upset and frustrated with me, I may not want to try anymore.
