The Veterans Crisis Line is staffed by caring, qualified VA responders—many are Veterans themselves—who understand what Veterans have been through. The Veterans Crisis Line and online chat are available to all Veterans and their families and friends, even if they are not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care. VA responders are standing by24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

VA’s Caregiver Support Line

If you are caring for a Veteran, this program may be of assistance. Whether you’re in need of immediate assistance or have questions about what services you may be eligible for, the caring licensed professionals who answer the support line can tell you about the assistance available from VA. If eligible, they also are able to help you access services by connecting you with the Caregiver Support Coordinator at a VA Medical Center near you.
